Brent Gibadlo, Vice President, Operations, BROOKFIELD PROPERTIES

Brent Gibadlo is the team leader of Newland’s Charleston office. His primary responsibility is Nexton, an award-winning,5,000-acre mixed-use community that was recently named the top master-planned community in the U.S. by the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB). Located in Summerville, S.C., Nexton also received the Grand Award for best Community Land Plan during the Pacific Coast Builders Conference’s 2020 Gold Nugget Awards. Upon completion, Nexton will include more than 10,000 homes and over 6 million square feet of commercial property. Brent has been involved in every aspect of developing Nexton since the community’s inception in 2009 as part of the development team at Westrock.
