Organization: Corporation with Multi-Entity Structure
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to support a growing corporation with a complex, multi-entity structure, including three subsidiaries, and adjacent non-profit with separate staff.
This role is focused on accounting accuracy, financial recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance, supporting the organization’s operational foundation as it continues to expand.
About the Role:
The CPA will provide ongoing support through accurate financial management, bookkeeping oversight, and assistance with required business filings and tax obligations. This position will work in close collaboration with the organization’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to ensure alignment across financial, operational, and compliance functions.
Core Responsibilities:
Maintain and oversee accurate financial records across multiple entities
Support bookkeeping processes and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
Assist with preparation and filing of federal, state, and local taxes
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Support business filings, registrations, and ongoing compliance documentation
Assist with intercompany accounting and proper allocation of expenses/revenue.
Review financial records for accuracy and completeness.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Active CPA license.
-Experience working with multi-entity or complex corporate structures.
-Familiarity with benefit corporations, nonprofit-adjacent organizations, or hybrid structures.
-Experience with intellectual property-related accounting (e.g., licensing, royalties).
