Presentation Summary
“Bridging Generations in the Workplace: Communicating with Purpose”
Today’s workplace is the most generationally diverse in history, with Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z all working side by side. While this diversity brings fresh perspectives and innovation, it can also create communication challenges and misunderstandings.
In this interactive session, participants will explore the unique values, communication preferences, and workplace expectations of each generation. The program pairs the real-world perspectives of a Gen Z professional just entering the workforce with a Gen X leader who has decades of experience, offering a balanced look at where generations clash—and where they connect.
The session will also introduce the Predictive Index (PI) as a powerful tool for self-awareness and communication. Rather than relying solely on generational stereotypes, PI helps leaders and employees understand the underlying drives and behaviors that influence how people work and interact.
Participants will walk away with practical strategies to adapt their communication styles, foster stronger cross-generational relationships, and strategies to build more cohesive, collaborative teams.
