Stephen Chandler currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Summerville Medical Center.

Stephen has been with HCA for five years with previous stents at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital and LewisGale Hospital Montgomery, both in HCA’s Capital Division. During Stephen’s most recent tenure at Henrico, he created successful business cases and strategic plans leading to capital investments totaling over $90M. Stephen also led the turnaround of surgical services improving all key operational performance metrics.

Melissa Hortman, EdD is a higher education leader in the areas of academic innovation and digital transformation. She is currently an Account Executive serving higher education institutions and technical schools in the southeast. She joined Microsoft in January of 2022 and has been a part of various national initiatives.
