About the Speaker:
Dr. Merissa Ferrara Elisei is a renowned communication expert, educator, and leader with over 20 years of experience transforming individuals and organizations through the power of effective communication.
As an Associate Professor at the College of Charleston and a world-class facilitator and Executive Director at 4Ward Operations, she combines her Ph.D. from Michigan State University and B.A. from Marquette University to inspire growth and empower communities.
In the classroom, Dr. Ferrara Elisei is known for her engaging teaching style, connecting with students through modern "lingo" and fostering an interactive learning environment.
Her research explores interpersonal communication, challenging relational decisions, and health communication, with her work published in leading journals such as Maternal and Child Health Journal and Women & Health.
