DESCRIPTION:This six-week series will feature a variety of topics including: \n\n\n \n How to best utilize social media. \n \n \n How to interact with the traditional media.\n \n \n How to create meaningful videos from your phone.\n \n \n How to ramp up your SEO.\n \n \n How to use AdWords.\n \n \n The latest and best HR practices.\n \n \n The finance laws that are ever-evolving and impacting your business. \n \n\n\n \n\nBegins January 12 (typically the second Wednesday of each month)\n\nClasses are 8 am - 10 am at the Chamber\n\n \n\n \n\n$15 members per class\n\n$25 prospective members per class\n\n*space is limited\n\n \n\nLight refreshments will be available.\n\n \n\nTopics:\n\nSocial Media (January 12)\n\n-Participants will leave with a month's worth of social media post ideas. \n\n-Participants will leave understanding what makes good content and what they should avoid.\n\n-The class will focus on Instagram and Facebook. \n\n-The class will cover hashtags- what they are and how to decide on which ones to use.\n\n \n\nAdWords and SEO (February 9)\n\n-Participants will leave understanding simple ways to boost their SEO and use AdWords.\n\n-The class will cover the basics of what both SEO and AdWords are and how anyone\, at any level\, can engage the technology.\n\n \n\nBasics of Videography from your phone (March 16)\n\n-This class will dive into how to produce simple but impactful videos from a cell phone. \n\n-The class will dissect popular video techniques and learn how to recreate them within minutes.\n\n-Participants will need a smartphone and access to their social media accounts.\n\n-Participants will also learn how to use video to better tell their stories and support their public relations efforts. \n\n \n\nHuman Resources (April 13)\n\n-This class will focus on hiring and retaining employees along with employee management. \n\n-Participants will also learn about remote working.\n\n \n\nTraditional Media (May 11)\n\n-In this class participants will learn how to best draft a press release\; what are the basic\, essential elements to include\; and to whom the media release should be sent. \n\n-The participants will leave with a custom template to use in the future for any media pitching they want to do along with a list of media contacts that are best suited to receive press releases. \n\n-Participants will learn what makes a great pitch and how to speak on camera.\n\n \n\nFinance (June 8)\n\n-New tax laws\n\n-Best practices for your business's financial health
