DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our our next Tourism Council meeting on Wednesday\, April 29 at 9:30 a.m. in the Summerville Town Council Chambers at Summerville's Town Hall.\n\n\n\nRegistration is not required but helpful:\n\nThis meeting will focus on SC250\, South Carolina's statewide commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. The campaign highlights the people\, places\, and stories that shaped our state's role in the Revolution and invites communities across South Carolina to take part through events\, education\, historic sites\, and local partnerships.\n\nWe'll be joined by three presenters who will share what is happening in their counties and how local partners can connect with upcoming opportunities:\n\n\n	Robert Sherman\, Dorchester County / Dorchester Heritage Center\n	Rachel Knight\, Berkeley County / Berkeley County Tourism\n	Marissa Sams\, Charleston County / SC250 Charleston\n\n\n\n\nOur speakers will touch on notable sites\, Carolina Day plans\, and ways Summerville partners may be able to get involved in the broader SC250 effort.\n\n \n\nThis would be a valuable meeting for attractions\, museums\, nonprofits\, tour operators\, hospitality partners\, and local businesses who want to better understand the SC250 campaign and explore how Summerville fits within the larger regional story and find meaningful ways to participate.
